Before any project breaks ground, our team at ICON leads a thorough Discovery process designed to set your build up for success. We work like a true general contractor aligning stakeholders, eliminating unknowns, and creating total clarity around scope, schedule, and cost.

Our Discovery phase is where ideas become executable plans. We assess site conditions, review design intent, define performance requirements, and determine the most efficient path to print.

Fast-track your project with ready-to-print plans from CODEX, or collaborate on a fully custom design with our in-house architecture team. Codex provides verified plans that shorten timelines and simplify approvals, while custom designs deliver bespoke solutions shaped by the possibilities of advanced 3D-printed concrete construction.

Meanwhile, we vet and help you select your general contractor and any required consultants.

Permitting & Regulatory

We work to streamline approvals by coordinating directly with local jurisdictions to ensure your project meets all code, zoning, and compliance requirements. Leveraging ICON’s established regulatory pathways, we prepare and submit the full permit package, resolve technical questions early, and keep your project moving forward.

Documentation

Producing all the detailed drawings, specifications, and technical data needed for bidding, coordination, and construction we deliver clear, build-ready documents that align design intent with print requirements.

We aim to reduce ambiguity, enable accurate estimates, and prepare every trade for a smooth start on site.

Site Prep

Here, we prepare the project for a seamless start to construction by establishing utilities, grading the pad, setting forms, and preparing all ground conditions required for printing. We coordinate closely with trades to ensure the site is accessible, properly serviced, and aligned to the build plan.

Printing

The Print phase brings the design to life as our field team and robotic system execute the wall system on site. We coordinate setup, material delivery, print sequencing, and quality checks to ensure each layer is precise, consistent, and aligned with downstream trades. This phase transforms a prepared site into a fully printed structure, ready for finishing.

Finishing

Transforming the printed structure into a fully realized home, coordinating all interior and exterior trades from MEP rough-ins and insulation to windows, doors, fixtures, and final details.

We manage sequencing to ensure each trade moves efficiently through the building, delivering a polished, high-quality finish that reflects the design intent and completes the path from concept to turnkey home.
